Ngaoundéré Hospital: The Hemodialysis Center Becomes Operational

 The Minister of Public Health, Manaouda Malachie, proceeded on December 27, 2022, to the reception and the effective commissioning of the Hemodialysis Center of the Regional Hospital of Ngaoundéré.

The Hemodialysis Center Becomes Operational at the Ngaoundéré Hospital

Built on 255 m2 to the tune of 500 million FCFA, this dialysis center has 10 generators with a reserve generator. Per day, the structure will take care of more than 30 patients, assured the director general of the Regional Hospital of Ngaoundéré.

This is good news for patients with kidney failure in the Adamaoua region. It is now possible for them to be taken care of at the Hemodialysis Center of the Regional Hospital of Ngaoundéré.

According to official figures, the State of Cameroon spends an average of 4 billion CFA francs annually to care for patients suffering from kidney failure. A project to manufacture dedicated kits and equipment is also being developed in Cameroon to further relieve the state budget.
